Little pizzas with mozzarella and tomato sauce

pizza dough recipe

If you go to a party in Italy you'll always find these little pizzas. They are so cute and tasty! These pizzas are excellent as a party food. Easy to make and quick to eat - you finish them in 2 bites:-) Let's pizza!

You need:

- 250g (9 oz) plain flour
- 135g (5 fl oz) warm water
- 1/2tsp salt
- 1tbsp olive oil
- 4g (1tsp) dried yeast
- 1tsp sugar
- chopped tomatoes
- 1 mozzarella

Combine the warm water, olive oil, sugar and salt

Add the flour and yeast and knead the dough (you can do it with your bread maker or by hand,  it doesn't influence the result)

Leave it to grow for 1 hour, roll out the dough and cut little circles

Place the circles onto a baking sheet and press the center of each of them with your fingers

Put some tomato sauce in the center of each pizzetta

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and place a bowl full of water on the bottom of the oven

Bake the pizzas for 25 minutes

In the meantime cut the mozzarella in small cubes

And place it on top of each pizetta

Bake them for another 5 minutes until the mozzarella melts. Remove them from the oven and enjoy! Bon appetit:-)
