Our family has one delicious tradition - every Saturday night we all bake
homemade pizza :-) I knead the dough, my husband rolls it out and our child puts the
stuffing. Of
course you can buy a ready-baked pizza almost everywhere
(especially here in Italy), but believe me, a homemade one tastes completely different. And it's so easy to make! We
have tried many recipes for pizza dough and finally we have chosen
our favorite one (it was given to us by a pizza chef Pino - a childhood friend of my
husband). So, open the flour, take a rolling pin and make this delicious pizza for your family :-)
To make a classic Italian pizza dough you need:
(For 4 medium-size pizzas):- 500g flour
- 7g dried yeast
- 20g salt
- 5g sugar
- 50g olive oil
- 1,5cup warm water
Mix warm water, oil, salt and sugar
Add flour and dried yeast
Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands (if necessary, add a little more flour), cut a cross on top of the dough (Pino says it helps the dough '' breathe ''), cover it with a towel and leave for 2 hours in a warm place to grow
Then divide the dough into 4 equal pieces, roll each piece thinly, put your favorite stuffing on top, preheat the oven to 220C and bake pizza for about 15 minutes, then place the slices of cheese and put it back in the oven for other 3 minutesplace. Buon appetito :-))))))
