Homemade facial toner

About a year ago I stopped using store-bought cosmetics. Reading the INCI labels for ready-made creams and lotions made me scared. I couldn't even pronounce much of the ingredients. That was definitely not something I wanted to apply to my skin!  So I started making my own all natural facial creams and toners. The first reason is that you are always sure of what you apply to your face and body, and the effect of homemade cosmetics is really great! (Otherwise I wouldn't have resisted without ready made creams for 1 year:-))))) And then why spend money for something if you can cheaply make it at home!

Here is a recipe of a homemade facial toner. It's absolutely AMAZING. It helps to minimize pores, treats acne, reduces wrinkles and is anti-bacterial. What you need is:

- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary (or 10 gr of dry rosemary)
- 2 sprigs of fresh sage (or 10 gr of a dry one)
- 1tsp apple cider vinegar
- 5 drops tea tree oil
- 5 drops lavender oil
- 250 ml water
- 1 lemon skin

Put rosemary, sage, lemon skin and water in a small pan and bring it to boil. As soon as it starts boiling reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and leave it to cool

Strain it well and add apple cider vinegar and oils

Ready:-) You can store it in the fridge for 2 weeks. Remember to apply the toner only to cleansed face. Shake well before use. Use twice a day  in the morning and in the evening (just dampen a cotton ball with this toner and wipe it across your face).  Enjoy your bright skin:-)
