Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you have a sweet tooth like me you'll adore these cookies. Crispy edges, soft middle and chocolate drops that melt in your mouth...SUPER YUMMY! Very quick and easy to make. The only problem - they finish immediately :-)

To make chocolate chip cookies you need:

  • 250g (9 oz) flour
  • 140g (5 oz) sugar
  • 200g (7 oz) dark chocolate (cut it in small pieces)
  • 125g (4 oz) butter
  • 1 egg
  • 0,5tbsp baking powder
  • vanilla powder
  • a pinch of salt

Beat the egg with sugar


Add melted butter, vanilla powder, flour, salt and baking powder


Add the chopped chocolate


Mix well to get a soft and smooth pastry


Divide the pastry in many small balls (of a wlanut size) and place them well apart on a baking tray


Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and bake the cookies for 15 minutes (don't keep them in the oven for more than 15 minutes, otherwise they will become too hard)
