Cornflake cookies recipe


If you are tired of usual shortbread cookies and want to taste something new these cornflake cookies are just the right choice. They are absolutely delicious, flavorful and crunchy! One bite is never enough:-) 

You need: 

- 150g (2/3 cup) plain flour
- 120g (1/2 cup) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 120g (4 oz) soft butter
-  15g (1tbsp) baking powder
- 150g (5 oz) corn flakes + 300g (10 oz) cornflakes for coating

- 1 orange zest
- vanilla powder


Beat the butter, eggs and sugar


Add the rest of the ingredients


Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined


Put the pastry in the fridge for 20 minutes, then divide it into many balls of a walnut size


Coat them in 300g/10 oz cornflakes and place them on the baking tray



Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and bake the cookies for 20 minutes


Let them cool a little and enjoy them with a warm cup of tea:-) Bon appetit!
